Winter Reset - Arkansas Trip
WINTER RESET - ARKANSAS TRIP
Here’s a stronger, more heartfelt rewrite in your natural tone:
The past couple of weeks have been heavy.Long days. Longer nights.
Winter Storm Fern hit Northwest Louisiana hard. Ice-covered roads for days. Dangerous travel. Relentless cold.
We were back and forth to work, going into homeless camps, urging people to come inside before they froze. Running 24/7 inclement weather intakes for over two straight weeks. Doing everything we could to make sure no one was left out in that storm.
It’s been intense.
But now… the storm has passed.
And it’s time to breathe.
We’re heading to Albert Pike in the Arkansas mountains to boondock for a few days. Quiet forest roads. A campfire. Crisp air. Hiking Little Missouri Falls. Waking up to God’s creation right outside our windows.
Sometimes you pour out.
Sometimes you step away to refill.
This is one of those refill moments.
